We humans like to be deceived and self-deceived, because life is mysterious and scary.

Fear comes from splitting, from division, both internal to consciousness and external.

If we do not understand these existential issues, no technology will ever help.

As Giordano Bruno told us: "If this science, which will bring great advantages to man, does not serve man to understand himself, it will end up turning against man".
